DRAKE ATHLETICS CLEAR BAG POLICY/PROHIBITED ITEMS

 

At The Start of the 2023 Athletics Season, Drake will be implementing a NEW Clear Bag policy for all of the Home Drake Athletics Events.

 

Fans attending events at Drake will be permitted to carry one clear plastic or vinyl bag that does not exceed 12”x6”x12”, or one, one-gallon clear plastic or zip-lock bag. A small clutch no larger than 5.5” x 8.5” may also be carried in addition to one clear bag. Diaper bags (with child) and bags approved for medical needs will be permitted after a search by security personnel. All other bags, backpacks, totes, and coolers are strictly prohibited. An exception will be made for empty plastic water bottles, up to 32 ounces.

 

To present a safe event for everyone, jackets may be searched upon entry. If prohibited items are found, the item will be confiscated OR the guest may personally return it to their vehicle or otherwise dispose of the item away from the facility. Drake does not check or otherwise safeguard personal belongings. Any belongings abandoned at entrances or elsewhere on venue grounds will be discarded.

Approved Bags

• Bags that are Clear Plastic, Vinyl, OR PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12." An exception will be made for medically necessary items as well as diaper bags

• Small Clutch Bags No larger than 5.5"x 8.5"

• One-Gallon Clear Plastic Freezer Bag
