Since 1893, Bulldog Football has brought national recognition, campus pride, and consistent success to Drake University. Despite an unprecedented tradition of excellence, Drake Football needs your help to continue its annual pursuit of a PFL Championship and an automatic berth in the NCAA FCS Playoff. Continual increases in operating expenses related to team travel, equipment, recruiting, and student-athlete development are increasing Drake's need for additional funding from its alumni and friends.

 

Annual investments in the Touchdown Club help give our Football program the resources they need to compete for Pioneer Football League championships in competition as well as a championship experience in life. Your gift to the Touchdown Club helps us meet the most direct and immediate needs of our Football program in a variety of ways, including:

• Team travel, allowing our student-athletes to get to and from competitions efficiently with adequate time for classes and individual study

• Academic support and leadership programs, provide our student-athletes with the tools they need to become leaders on campus and in the community

• Increased athletic training and sports performance support, providing our student-athletes with the personalized care they need to be at their best in competition

• Up-to-date equipment and uniforms, enabling our student-athletes to successfully train and compete while enhancing athletic performance and the Bulldog brand
