National Girls & Women in Sports Day

NGWSD recognizes the extraordinary progress sparked by Title IX and the ongoing effort to ensure access to sports for girls and women. Research indicates that girls who play sports have better health, higher self-esteem, stronger leadership skills, and greater academic achievement and economic opportunity.
Thanks to a generous donation to Drake Athletics, please join many of our Drake women's athletics teams for this FREE clinic. Participants will be involved in sports activity stations to help expand life-long opportunities.
Clinic registration is now open to all local youth age kindergarten to 6th grade.

All clinic participants will receive:

Four (4) complimentary general admission tickets to the Drake Women's Basketball game vs. Evansville at 2 p.m.
During the lunch break, kids can participate in a multitude of activities including a photo booth, make a sign to cheer on the Bulldogs, get a temporary tattoo, and take a photo with Griff.
